This is my little corner of the internet - a place where I share stories I'm honored to capture: laughter, love, and the quiet everyday moments. Growing up on a farm in Missouri taught me to notice the beauty in simple things. I aim to preserve the moments that matter most in a way that feels natural, genuine, and full of heart.

Telluride ski Resort wedding
chelsea & jake

A Summer wedding at Telluride Ski Resort, high in the San Juan Mountains, with sweeping views, a touch of rain, and a celebration full of joy from beginning to end.

There's something unforgettable about a wedding day in the mountains, and Chelsea and Jake's day in Telluride was exactly that. Set high above it all at Palmyra Lookout, surrounded by the San Juan Mountains, their ceremony took place at 11,200 feet - where the air feels a little lighter, and the views stretch endlessly in every direction.

Just as the ceremony began, a light sprinkle drifted in, soft and unexpected. It didn't last long, but it felt like a quiet, fleeting moment - one of those things you don't plan for but somehow makes the day even more memorable. By the time Chelsea and Jake shared their first kiss as husband and wife, the rain had already passed, leaving behind fresh mountain air and a sense that everything had fallen into place just as it should.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to Bon Vivant for cocktail hour, where laughter carried easily, and glasses were raised among friends and family. It was a time to slow down, take in the views, and celebrate the beginning of something new together.

The evening continued at Mountain Lodge Telluride in Mountain Village, where everyone gathered for a warm and welcoming reception. Chelsea and Jake shared a meal surrounded by the people who mean the most to them, and the room was filled with that kind of joy you can feel-genuine, steady, and full of life.

As the night went on, they shared meaningful first dances with their families, moments that felt both tender and deeply rooted in love. And then, as the music picked up, the celebration carried into a dance floor full of energy, laughter, and people who clearly love them well.

It was the kind of day that felt complete in every way-beautiful, heartfelt, and full of moments that will be remembered for years to come.

Chelsea and Jake, it was such an honor to be there and to capture your day.

If you're planning a mountain wedding or dreaming up a day that feels meaningful and true to you, I'd love to hear what you're envisioning. You can reach out anytime, and we'll walk through it together.
