In Ouray, CO, where I literally walk out my front door into the kind of landscapes that belong in epic fantasy movies, it’s not all that surprising that a girl who once pestered her mom for more Polaroid film would eventually become a professional photographer. But when I realized I could blend my passion for photography with my lifelong love of adventure, my life changed forever.
Today, I create once-in-a-lifetime photography experiences for couples, families, and individuals who don’t mind a little mud on their shoes if it means they had the time of their lives. With a spontaneous and sincere style, I fill galleries with dynamic images that feature both awe-striking landscapes and heartwarming emotion. And I have a freaking blast doing it!
When I’m not exploring with couples or editing away on my latest gallery, I’m probably hiking with close friends, loading up the Jeep for a two-week camping trip with my husband and two kiddos, or just cozying in for a movie night. So, if you’re planning to say “I do” between an extreme camping trip and a The Lord of the Rings rewatch, we are sure to be instant best friends!

As a mom of two wild and crazy kids, I live a life filled with tickle fights, cookie baking, Lego building, and uncontainable joy. There are so many moments I wish I could freeze in time and just cozy into like a blanket fresh out of the dryer forever. But something that’s always struck me has been the way we connect in a distinctly powerful way when we step out of our ordinary, busy life (however beautiful it may be) and into nature. We laugh louder and love more deeply with nothing but the vast sky above us. This inspired me to bring that outdoorsy sprinkle of adventure into how I document family connections on camera.
Even if it’s just the two of you on a mountain top quietly whispering your vows to each other, this is a moment in your family legacy. And I’m sure I don’t have to explain the legacy-making moment of your 80-year-old grandpa busting a move on your reception dance floor. No matter how many people are present, I believe every meaningful moment in our lives should be documented as a chapter in our family stories. When you look back on the gallery we create together, I want you to feel that it completely and earnestly tells your story. So, whether you’re planning a massive traditional wedding celebration or an intimate elopement, a family trip, or a senior portrait session, I hope to use my camera to create an heirloom your family will treasure for generations to come.
