This is my little corner of the internet - a place where I share stories I'm honored to capture: laughter, love, and the quiet everyday moments. Growing up on a farm in Missouri taught me to notice the beauty in simple things. I aim to preserve the moments that matter most in a way that feels natural, genuine, and full of heart.

Ouray, Colorado engagement
 hannah & Jodie

An early fall engagement session in Ouray, Colorado, filled with golden light, mountain views, and the kind of moments that feel easy and true.

There's something about early September in the mountains that feels just right. The air begins to shift ever so slightly, the light softens, and the last of the summer wildflowers hold on just a little longer. Hannah and Jodie's evening in Ourau felt like it landed right in that sweet spot.

We spent the. afternoon surrounded by mountain views, with bits of yellow still scattered through the landscape - those last little reminders of summer before the seasons begin to turn. The air was calm and comfortable, the kind that makes you want to linger a little longer and take it all in.

Hannah and Jodi were such a joy to be around. There was an ease between them that didn't need to be directed, or created-It was already there. The way they laughed together, the quiet moments they shared, and the way they naturally leaned into one another all felt so genuine and unhurried. Nothing forced, nothing overdone. Just two people who love each other deeply, fully present in the moment.

As the evening went on, the clouds began to settle into the sky most beautifully, catching the light just enough to make everything feel a little more golden. And then the sunset-soft, glowing, and perfectly timed - wrapped around the mountains and gave us the kind of ending you always hope for.

It was simple, it was meaningful, and it was exactly what an evening like that should be.
