As an expert in the Ouray, CO, area (since I LIVE HERE), I can safely get us to unbelievable locations that are lesser-known to visitors. I’ve invested in relationships with many local vendors, so I can even give you a hand when it comes to bringing your wedding or elopement vision to life. And don’t worry about blizzards or storms! I’ll be keeping an eye on the weather and creating backup plans on backup plans just in case. In short, I’ll make sure the only thing dramatic about your wedding photography is the landscape!

1. SAY HEY | The first step in our wedding photography journey together is a simple hello! Head on over to my inquiry form to share a bit about yourself, your big day, and your hopes for your wedding photography. Then, I’ll be in touch in just 24 hours or less to share more! Pro-tip: to ensure your wedding date is still open on my calendar, it’s best to inquire about a year in advance, especially if you’re planning a wedding between June and October.
2. LET’S CHAT | Then, let’s get to know each other a little better! I’d love to hear how he proposed, where you’re planning to say “I do,” and why you’re looking for a more adventurous spin on your wedding photography. I’ll also share more about my process with you and answer any questions you have, so bring ‘em all!
3. MAKE IT OFFICIAL | After our chat, I’ll send a little more information for you to explore, including my pricing guide. If you decide we are a perfect fit, you’ll simply tell me which collection you want to move forward with (or we can create something custom!), and I’ll send the retainer invoice and agreement your way. Once I receive both back from you, pop the bubbly because you’ve just booked your wedding photographer!
4. DOCUMENT YOUR ENGAGEMENT | Kinda wish you could elope on a mountaintop despite deciding on a more traditional ceremony? Not to worry! Through an adventure engagement session, we can capture all the vibes and views of an adventure elopement without the “I do”s! Together, we will choose the perfect location and styling. Then, it’s time to load up in my Jeep and off-road up a mountain for an adventure you’ll never forget!
5. STAY IN TOUCH | Throughout the process, I’ll be checking in to make sure everything is going smoothly. If you need help finding vendors, I’d love to give you a hand! Or maybe you’re struggling to choose the perfect bridesmaid dress shade. I’m ready and willing to help with that, too! And don’t even worry about that wedding day timeline because I’ll help you create the perfect plan.
6. FINAL CHECK-IN | As wedding week arrives, I’ll be in touch to quadruple-check the details, from the first location of the day to the family portrait shot list. This way, you can wake up on your wedding morning feeling prepared and peaceful! And speaking of your wedding morning…
7. CELEBRATE YOUR BIG DAY | With all that planning in the rearview, it’s finally time to enjoy the celebration! SNEAK A PEEK | You won’t have to wait long to see what your wedding day looked like through my lens because just 48 hours or less after you race off into your happily ever after, a sneak peek will arrive in your email inbox! 9. RELIVE IT ALL | Just six to eight weeks after the best day of your life, you’ll be able to relive it all in breathtaking detail. So, snuggle up close with the love of your life and enjoy a gallery documenting every laugh, tear, and epic dance moves from your special day. But the journey doesn’t end here…
10. CREATE YOUR HEIRLOOMS | Why let your beautiful wedding photos hide away on your computer when they could fill albums and decorate walls? I want to make it as easy as possible for you to turn your images into art, so I’ll give you access to a print lab as well as help you design your albums! If you have ideas, feel free to send them my way! If not, I’ll share some of my favorite spots with you, or I can do some exploring to find a place that meets your qualifications. And once we’ve found the perfect location, we will lock it in and start planning!
5. BOOK YOUR VENDORS | Especially if you’re traveling in from out of town, finding the perfect vendors to bring your elopement vision to life can be a struggle. But that’s where I come in! I’ll help you find incredible local vendors who are used to working with eloping couples, taking some of the stress off the planning process.
6. FINALIZE YOUR GUEST LIST | While the purpose of an elopement is to make your love story the entire focus of the day, some couples wish to invite a few friends and family along for the ride. I limit my elopements to just ten people, but feel free to invite a few close friends, family members, or your pastor along on the adventure.

I love the couples that are up for anything and trust me fully with planning out and shooting their day. I had one couple that comes to mind that were a perfect example of this! We originally had planned a 9-mile hike for their elopement, but due to a very busy holiday weekend, we completely changed everything the morning of, to a full day of jeeping in the mountains. They totally trusted me with taking them to epic locations and it was one of my favorites days ever. And they raved about the day and how I made it amazing for them.
