A 3-day workshop, not only providing you with area knowledge and local insight, but creating content you can use to market your services to future clients in Ouray County, Colorado!
Developing positive relationships with local wedding vendors is KEY to creating successful events! This workshop will provide you opportunities to establish those relationships and position yourself as a wedding professional of the San Juan Mountains.
Ample time is provided to capture stunning landscapes, unique details, and special moments from each styled shoot. We are capping this workshop at 12 attendees so that you can have the best possible experience without feeling crowded! No cramming in elbow-to-elbow to get the "perfect shot."

What's included:
Red Mountain Alpine Lodge is a luxury backcountry lodge situated at 11,000 ft. The lodge features three private rooms and 11 loft spaces. A large main living area is beautifully decorated yet cozy and inviting. The lodge hosts a number of premium amenities including radiant in floor heating, private toilet and shower rooms, and Starlink wifi so you'll be able to download all your photos in no time.
Starting with a welcome reception on the afternoon of June 27th and culminating with a farewell mountain top picnic on June 29th, all your meals have been carefully curated for the ultimate culinary experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And yes, we've got snacks too!
Transportation to/from the lodge WILL BE YOUR responsibility. But once you've arrived, we will take care of transporting you to all organized activities. NOT INCLUDED: flights and transportation to/from the airport are not included. We've partnered with TelluRides to offer you discounted airport transfers.
Each styled shoot will offer something unique. You'll walk away with photos from a real elopement, bridal portraits, wedding day details, and an adventure session like nothing you've seen before!

I'm Krysta and my love for the outdoors made the San Juan Mountains the perfect location for my husband and I to relocate and start a family.
That was 6 years ago and now I'm a mother to two beautiful daughters and a thriving business owner that gets to design, plan and coordinate unique mountain elopements and weddings for the wild and romantic.
I strive to create weddings that represent each couple's distinct love while celebrating the beauty of Mother Nature. As a full service planner, I advocate on the importance of investing in eco-friendly and sustainable events.
I'm so fortunate to be able to live, work and play in these beautiful mountains!
I'm Aubrey! I am a full-time, work-from-home wife, mom, and adventure elopement photographer. I'm 30 years old, mama to two kiddos (Marley and Gentry), and wife to my adventure partner, Tyler. I've been an elopement photographer since 2018!
I'm inspired by everyday love stories, traveling to new places, stepping outside of my comfort zone, and meeting new people, and jeeping/hiking new trails! If you don’t find me behind a lens, you’ll find me behind the wheel of a Jeep. And I’m no stranger to expert terrain. Black Bear Pass anyone?
My love language is gift-giving and acts of service, I'm a 9W2 on the enneagram, I am a peanut butter addict and hot chocolate lover, and if given the opportunity, I WILL take a nap just about anywhere!
